Clementine

For years I wanted to be your Clementine,
Not Alex to the bunnies that hopped away.

The dark lady to summon the quakes,
But I only tore the ground apart.

The pain raised me and I raised a pain,
I can fit into the greyscale pretty well
And I never ever wanted to lick the rainbow.

I was green with envy,
I was red from rage,
I never ever drunk,
But I feasedt on jealousy
And fasted on false hopes.

I was yellow from bile,
I was bluer than blue,
I never ever strayed,
But I was violently dedicated
To the vows I never took.
