Keleti. The most romantic place in the world I've seen so far. A huge, old train station in Budapest. Many films and music videos wouldn't have the same vibe they have when recorded at that particular place. A good example of that is Sarah Connor's From Sarah With Love, guaranteed to shatter dreams and make a person cry. Next time I'm at Keleti, I'll be going in the 100% opposite direction than the most recent time I was there...heading towards the cruelest of the realities in the developed world instead of some sort of a holiday fairy-tale. And I was not always this way.

Keleti

Sanjar sam.
Ja sam stvarno sanjar.

Keleti kasne jeseni, utorak popodne,
toplo je i mesec se promalja,
svi trče.

Preko puta mene je žena sa velikim osmehom na licu,
deli svoje kolače sa mnom,
nema razloga da bude dobra, no dobra je.

Keleti u polusnu ranoga jutra,
hladno je i vetar prožima,
nema nikoga.

Vidim mlađeg čoveka sa bezličnim pogledom,
sklanja svoju hranu od mene,
nema razloga da bude okrutan, no okrutan je.

Bila sam sanjar.
Nekad sam stvarno bila sanjar.

Keleti

I'm a dreamer.
I really am a dreamer.

Keleti on a late autumn Tuesday evening,
It's warm and the moon's peeking through,
Everyone's running.

There's a lady with a huge smile on her face,
She shares her cookies with me,
No reason to be nice, but she is.

Keleti in an early morning daydream,
It's cold and the wind's blowing through,
I cannot hear a thing.

There's a youngish man with a blank stare,
He's moving the food away from me,
No reason to be cruel, but he is.

I was a dreamer.
I really used to be a dreamer.
