Time to contribute to Blog Action Day 2010, don't you think? I encourage you to take part as well, instead of blogging about how you're making money, leaving your pouty bathroom mirror photos, masturbating over celebs or whatever it is that you normally do.
As a resident of a country that clearly has enough water, I still sympathise with those who don't. Some time ago, I asked visitors of Invisible Movement to contribute to Water Aid and though they were, at that point, used to having their backsides buttered by fun content, they actually did it. Later on, they made a contribution to War Child as well and bought the charity album featuring Duffy, Lilly Allen and many more...which made me feel even warmer on the inside. That was when I realised how beautiful activism can be. Helping someone instead of getting something you might not need at all makes us grow and puts a smile on the faces of those who couldn't smile for a long time, or even those who never smiled before.
So...your little can be a lot for someone. Please, help provide clean water in the places where it's literally a luxury. Sign the petition, donate money if you can.
