This should have been posted yesterday. But, very fitting for the date 13th September, we learnt that dad will have to undergo radiotherapy as of today. The story is complicated and therefore I'll tell it some other time. For now, this is for Leide.

You should also have a look at Imagine and Lighthouse, His Mother, A Cloud and Paper Cranes, they have a similar topic in the core...

...so does Wrong Star. If anyone thought it was some sort of a steampunk/cyberpunk Romeo and Juliet, you were very, very wrong. There would've been physical attraction and non-platonic affection otherwise.

Leide

Leide, žao mi je,
i ja sam kao mala sanjala,
ali me svetlost nije opila,
niti iscrpela,
a ovakva svetlost ruši kuće.

Moja duga vidi se samo posle kiše,
ne traje dugo i noć je izbriše.

Leide, žao mi je,
i ja celog života volim šljokice,
ali ih uzimam samo gde treba,
i ne bih druge,
ovakve šljokice ubijaju.

Tvoju dugu vidim kao opomenu,
dok počivaš u olovnom oklopu.
Tvoje snove sanjaju mnogi,
ali ti više nikad nećeš moći.

Leide

Leide, I am sorry,
I used to dream as a little girl, too.
But the light never enchanted me,
or exhausted me,
And this kind of light demolishes homes.

My rainbow, it can be seen only after the rain,
It doesn't last long, it fades away with the night.

Leide, I am sorry,
I loved glitter all my life, too,
But I watch out where it comes from,
And I want no other,
This kind of glitter kills.

Your rainbow, it's a warning,
While you're resting in a lead armor,
Your dreams are being dreamed by many,
But you will never be able to do so again.
